Emon injured during shooting in the Bay

The shooting of the movie ‘Operation Jackpot’ about the most successful guerilla operation conducted in the naval sector of the war is going on in the Sundarbans near the Bay of Bengal.
The film actor Mamnun Hasan Emon was injured while rehearsing a song scene in its shooting.
Director Rajib Biswas confirmed the news on Monday. He told this correspondent, “A rehearsal of our song was going on in the ocean. At that time, something like a snail hit Emon’s leg. But Emon is better now. Our shooting is underway.”
The shooting of the movie started in Sundarban area from Monday morning.
The shooting of the movie will continue there till March 22. Before this, the movie was shot at BFDC, Dhaka University and Bangabandhu Film City. After the shooting of Mongla Port and Chattogram Port, the shooting of the movie is scheduled to begin in France.
The movie ‘Operation Jackpot’ stars Ananta Jalil, Amit Hasan, Ziaul Roshan, Mamnun Emon, Nirab Hossain, Joy Chowdhury, Sanju Jon, Shipon Mitra and Aman Reza. Ahmed Sharif, Ilias Kanchan, Misha Sawdagor, Danny Sidak, Khorshed Alam Khosru, Kazi Hayat, among others, will also act in the movie. The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs is producing the movie ‘Operation Jackpot’ based on the historical incident.
Director Rajib Biswas of Kolkata and Delwar Jahan Jhantu of Bangladesh have got the responsibility of making this movie.
The movie will highlight the most successful guerrilla operation conducted in the naval sector of the War of Independence.
During the war of liberation, a simultaneous operation was carried out in Chattogram and Mongla sea ports, Chandpur and Narayanganj in the guerilla operation called ‘Operation Jackpot’.
In that campaign, freedom-fighters sunk 26 ships carrying arms, food and oil from Pakistan and other countries.
