Ekushey Padak and the National Film Award-winning living legend actress Dilara Zaman played the role of Shakib Khan’s grandmother in Himel Ashraf directed movie ‘Rajkumar’, which was released last Eid.

Last Eid’s most successful movie ‘Rajkumar’ was the first opportunity of Shakib Khan to act with a legendary actress like Dilara Zaman.
Noted actor Tariq Anam Khan played the role of Dilara Zaman’s son in the movie. In the last minute of the movie, the excellent performance of father and son impressed the audience.
After the performance of grandmother Dilara Zaman and grandson Sakib Khan in the movie ‘Rajkumar’, the audience has started waiting for the movie ‘Jongli’, directed by MA Rahim. Azad Khan wrote story of this movie because in the movie ‘Jongli’ Dilara Zaman is playing the role of grandmother of this generation’s favourite film actress Shobnom Bubly.
Dilara Zaman said that since yesterday, Mirpur of the capital, she has participated in the shooting of the movie ‘Jongli’.
She will participate in the shooting of this movie for two consecutive days.
While talking in this regard, Dilara Zaman told this correspondent, “Most probably this was the first work of Shakib Khan in the role of my grandson. We first met on the ferry while going to shoot in Pabna. He is quite a modest boy. His speech is quite nice. After that, there was no separate time to talk, then met him only at the shooting.
He is a very focused and serious actor. Our emotional performance made everyone in the unit very emotional at that time.” “However, we were very careful while shooting in Pabna. I heard that the movie is doing quite well, doing very good business. That’s actually nice. Bengali cinema stands tall in the court of the world. That’s what I’ve wanted all my life. ‘Rajkumar’ is also being appreciated in the world market,” she added.
Dilara Zaman also said that even if she wanted to work in this intense heat, she could not do it. So, she is trying to do the things that she likes more because she lives alone in Uttara’s house in Dhaka.
Her two daughters live outside the country. So, the actress has to move very carefully.
