All praise is due to Allah and blessings and peace be upon the Prophet Muhammad, his virtuous family and bright fortunate companions.

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh.

I would like to welcome you to this heartfelt joyous day that comes to us every year as a commemoration of the national day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in order to recall the first historical event, a day engraved in the memory of history and sculptured in the mind and soul of Saudi citizens. On this day, King Abdul Aziz Bin Abdur Rahman Al-Saud May Allah make his grave peaceful, unified this great territory after it was scattered, and changed the division and enmity into unity, fusion, and integration. Our country is celebrating this historical day (anniversary of 93rd National Day).

This is an everlasting event and glorious occasion in which the new generation can understand the values, comprehensions, sacrifices, and tremendous efforts that accompanied the building of this gigantic territory. We are celebrating this day to express our love and regards for this blessed land for those personalities to whom the credit goes after Almighty Allah for the bounty of welfare and stability that our country is enjoying.

In a few years, the Kingdom witnessed the unprecedented civilizational development in all sectors.

The achievements of this country in the economic, educational, and security fields are beyond measure and not easy to describe, so it has become an ideal example for stability, prosperity, and development in its regional circumference.

The Kingdom’s Vision 2030 is a comprehensive vision for all aspects of life that enters into very precise details about the future of the country from economic, educational, social, cultural, and civilizational aspects. This vision wisely and intelligently illustrates the necessity of citizens’ contributions and their interactions in this blessed country under the righteous leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince – May Allah protect them. Capturing the essence of Vision 2030 of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in a few lines is a delightful challenge due to its magnificence, which includes massive projects, initiatives, shining and deep sights for the future, as well as great ambition towards inclusive and sustainable development, as it has been planned by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz and the Crown Prince and Hon’ble Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz – May Allah protect them both.

The Vision of Saudi Arabia 2030 is based on the following three pillars: a vital society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation.

On this precious occasion, it is worthy of mention to all of you about the great services of the Kingdom for Arabic and Islamic nation.

This land is the place of the descent of revelation, the beginning of the message of Allah, and the Qiblah of Muslims. From the very beginning of its establishment, this state has given great importance and attention to Islam and Muslims. So it has established many Mosques and Islamic Centers in all parts of the world.

During the reign of the Saudi dynasty, these Two Holy Mosques have witnessed the biggest extension works in comparison with all previous eras. So performing Hajj has become very easy nowadays as the Kingdom has initiated new programs for pilgrims in order to ease their noble journey.

Their good intentions, eagerness, and providing all means of comfort have made the performing rituals of Hajj for pilgrims and visitors of the Prophet Mosque more convenient and comfortable.

They have used all the potential of this country for their service wholeheartedly, which has been witnessed by farers and nearers.

To spread the message of peace and stability all over the world, the Kingdom established a Quran printing complex in the city of the Prophet from where being distributed millions of copies of the Quran with the translation of its meanings into world languages.

The Saudi-Bangladesh relationship is deep-rooted and outstanding, standing on a strong foundation of religious and cultural ties. Saudi Arabia is accustomed to standing beside Bangladesh and helping it, especially in times of hardship.

The Bangladeshi nation loves Islam and the Kingdom wholeheartedly, which gives great importance to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Millions of Bangladeshis are working in different sectors of the Kingdom, which is recognized as the greatest labor market in the world.

The Kingdom has made a great contribution to the betterment of the living standards of this country, as migrant workers are sending remittances to their beloved family members constantly.

There are many districts of Bangladesh situated on coastal areas and facing every year natural disasters, floods, and cyclones. The Kingdom is a leading country that always extends its hand for cooperation and helps Bangladesh whenever it is afflicted by disasters.

The Kingdom provided Bangladesh with huge relief assistance and donations amounting near about (150) million US Dollars for flood and cyclone “Sidr” effected peoples of Bangladesh in 2007.

Apart from that, as Bangladesh is an emerging economic power in Southeast Asia, Saudi Arabia is keen to invest in various sectors of Bangladesh. Many renowned Saudi companies and investors have shown their keen interest for investment in different sectors.

The Kingdom has also provided financial assistance for the different projects, like building houses, schools, Mosques, orphanages, and shelter homes for protection from natural disasters, as well as establishing hospitals, bridges, and power plants.

The Saudi-Bangladesh relations witnessed more strength after the visit of Her Excellency the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina to the Kingdom in 2016 and meeting with the King of Saudi Arabia King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, as well as visits by a number of Saudi ministers who accompanied high-level Saudi officials to Bangladesh.

What is said above about the everlasting memorable deeds are merely some luminous glimpses and profiles from the journey of this lofty land.

While I avail of this precious occasion to congratulate our country along with its leaders and people, I pray to almighty Allah to save this benevolent homeland who enabled us to belong to it, and may bestow it more bounties and arrange righteous leadership which is leading and will lead to the goodness and security in the turbulent regional environment.

In this pleasant occasion, on behalf of me and all officials of the Embassy, I also have the pleasure and honor to extend the highest regards and congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz and his trustworthy Crown Prince and all members of generous Royal family and noble Saudi peoples.
