Two Nazrul songs’ albums titled Anindita Chowdhury’s Noyon-er Neerey and Bijan Chandra Mistri’s Bone Bone Laglo Dol were launched at a function held on Bengal Boi premises in the city’s Lalmatia area on May 12.
After the album launching ceremony Anindita and Bijan Chandra rendered songs with duet and solo performances.
Director General of Bengal Foundation Luva Nahid Chowdhury moderated the programme. The event was open for all.
Anindita and Bijan Chandra were accompanied by Pinu Sen in table, Ekram Hossain in eshraj and percussion, Nasir Uddin in guitar and Iftekhar Hossain Sohel in key-board.
Produced by Bengal Foundation in Anindita’s album, there are eight songs while 10 songs contain in Bijan Chandra’s album.
