Deepa Khandakar is a popular TV drama actress in Bangladesh. She has
been acting continuously for more than 25 years.
However, among all the Eids she has faced in her acting career, this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr is going to be a different kind of Eid in Deepa’s life. In other words, it is going to be the best Eid in her life from a professional point of view.
Because the movie starring Deepa is going to be released on the same Eid, and the web series is also being released on this Eid. Also, she can be seen
in dramas and commercials. That’s why this Eid is a different kind of Eid for Deepa Khandakar.
Deepa said that this year’s Eid Kamruzzaman Roman directed movie
‘Jinn 2’ is releasing.
In this movie, Deepa acted opposite late actor Ahmed Rubel.
Also, Deepa starrer the web series ‘Rumi’ directed by Vicky Jahed will be released on that platform, Hoi Choi. Chanchal Chowdhury is in the title role in this web series.
A drama titled ‘Tomatei Haray’ directed by MD Taufiqul Islam will be aired on CMV’s YouTube channel.
However, Deepa said that her acted movie ‘Oporajeyo,’ directed by late Syed Salahuddin Zaki will be aired on Channel i’s OTT platform, i-Screen. It was Syed Salauddin Zaki directed his last movie. The movie will be aired on the day of Eid at 10:15am.
Besides, Deepa’s new advertisement is an established one company’s Laccha Semai will go on air during Eid.
Deepa told this correspondent, “This Eid is really a little different in my acting life. It could be seen that usually when Eid came, dramas were aired more on various TV channel and YouTube channels. But this year’s Eid movie is that my movie is being released, as much as the web series is being released, this time on OTT the movie is also being released.
Dramas will be broadcast on YouTube, advertisements will be broadcast on television. So all in all, considering the professional aspect, this Eid is a complete Eid from all sides. Alhamdulillah. I have a special request to my fans; please try to watch my acting works. Everything works that well.
And I remember Zaki Sir’s words very much. He had made the movie ‘Oporajeyo’. He could not see the response of the audience. I had a great experience acting with Afzal Bhai in this movie.”
