Farjana Sumi is the popular model and actress of this generation. Her movie ‘Jolrong’ is waiting for release. Sumi has come to the discussions of the makers by playing the central role of the movie.
Recently Farjana Sumi acted in a new movie titled ‘Atorbibi Lane’ as the title role.
The movie is directed by Mizanur Rahman Labu. Golam Mostafa Prokash acted opposite Farjana Sumi in this movie. The story, dialogues and screenplay of the movie are written by the director Mizanur Rahman Labu himself.
Dubbing has started after the shooting of the movie made under the banner of Times Media.
Regarding acting in this movie, Farjana Sumi told this correspondent, “Acting in the title role of the movie gives me great love. I had to do a lot of homework for this character. In the whole movie, the struggling life of ‘Atorbibi’ has come up. The director has taken forward the story of this movie by tying the events that happened in her life together. I tried my best to act according to the director’s demand. I believe the audience will like this movie. And I think that if they like me and the whole unit, it will be worthwhile.”
While talking about the transformation of the character of Atorbibi in the movie, actress Farjana Sumi said, “In the story of the movie, Atorbibi dreams of living like a normal girl of the society. She has many dreams of living a happy life. But in this society, to save the interests of some horrible profiteers, Atorbibi has to be sacrificed again and again. In her life, there were many setbacks. The story of the struggling life of Atorbibi comes up in the whole movie. Atorbibi’s struggling life is covered in the story of the movie.”
According to the source of the director of the movie ‘Atorbibi Lane’, in addition to different locations in Dhaka, the shooting of the movie has been completed in different places including Daulatdia Sex Village, Rajbari, Goalanda and Faridpur district.
Apart from Farjana Sumi and Prokash, the movie also stars Rashed Mamun Apu, Ashish Khondoker, Elina Shammi, Sanjida Mila, Joyraj, Parvez Sumon, Farhad Limon, Kazi Ujjal, Sokal, Shimanto, etc.
It is known that the movie is planned to be released at a convenient time next Eid or after Eid.
The movie is filmed by Asaduzzaman Maznu, edited by Tauhid Hossain Chowdhury, Still cinematographer was Shah Sultan and make-up artiste was Jamal.
