Kaniz Suborna is one of the few popular songstresses who
had made a buzz in the local music arena as soon as she stepped into the industry with her melodious and husky voice. This stylish singer lent her voice to many popular songs. Her fans are still searching their favourite pop singer. This singer is going to debut her career in acting through a movie titled Subornobhumi, which shooting is going on at Pubail in Gazipur now. Zahid Hossain is giving direction of the movie while he has also written story, dialogues and script of the movie, which is being made under the banner of Revolutions Movies International. Kaniz Suborna’s maternal uncle Kudrat E Khoda is the owner of this production. Kaniz Suborna is playing the role of Shefali in this movie. While talking about Kaniz Suborna’s acting in this movie, her maternal uncle Kudrat E Khoda said, “During childhood I established Kaniz Suborna as a singer. Basically only for my interest she has started acting in this movie. I can say it is just the practice of acting. Next time I will produce another movie where Kaniz will play the leading role. I give thanks to my friend director Zahid Hossain for making this movie cordially.”
While sharing her feelings to act in this movie, Kaniz Suborna said, “Basically with the interests of Kudrat E Khoda Mama and Zahid Hossain Mama I showed my keen interest to act in this movie. After knowing story and my character I took part in the shooting of this movie sincerely. I don’t know how I performed but I tried to give my level best effort while taking part in the shooting of the movie. Earlier, in an ‘item song’ of a movie I performed. But movie is a vast area. Personally I am feeling very nervous during shooting. But I am trying to give my level best effort. Viewers will give their judgment after releasing the movie.”
Kaniz Suborna also said that she got married on April 22 in 2008. She has two sons – Ayman Amir Ahmed and Azman Aryan Ahmed. Due to give more times to her two sons it was really difficult for her to continue music. Therefore, her parents and three siblings are staying abroad. During childhood, Kaniz Suborna rendered her debut original song titled Ogo Maa Tumi Kothai. Later, she rendered two songs with Bappa Mazumder. These were: Ami Boro Shanti Priyo and Ayna Bolechhe Kopale Dao Tip. Then Kaniz’s debut solo album titled Bhalobasa Mane, comprising 12 songs which tunes and music were composed by late Ayub Bachchu, was released. She came into limelight after releasing this album. Then Kaniz rendered many popular songs like Tumi Nissho Kore Dao, (lyrics written by Asharf Babu and tunes were composed by Pancham), Sha La La La La (composed by Shawkat), Ei To Ami Tomar Achhi (lyrics written by Zulfiqar Russell and tunes were composed by Bappa Mazumder), Bhalobasi Jare, among others. At last, Kaniz Suborna’s last song DJ Rahat featuring Sara Daona was released.
