Robi Shikder: A humanitarian director

Though Robi Shikder is a director but everybody knows him as a humanitarian person. He has been trying to help 60 to 70 orphan and destitute children in the capital’s Uttara area now. Besides giving direction, he is trying to work for them. He worked as assistant of director Nurul Alam Atique for many days. Painya Bhiter Prem was Robi directed his first drama. Later, he gave direction of CNG Driver, Moner Guptochor, Kagojer Manush, Biye Kora Kothin Kaj, Misti Misti Prem, Chhai Chapa Agun, How To Do – many popular dramas and telefilms. His directed drama Chehara is waiting to release now.
Today is the birthday of Robi Shikder who was hailed from Tetulia village of Boalmari of Faridpur. According to him, today he will pass the day with orphan and destitute children. He will also meet director Nurul Alam Atique.
While talking about his birthday and works Robi said, “I will surely miss my mother on my birthday. Every year she wanted to inform my condition. But this year it will not be happened. I always try to make telefilms which are not based on traditional stories. While making any telefilm or drama I always keep in mind to give message to the viewers which will help the people. Basically I want to establish myself as an exceptional director.”
