Finally today comes the great moment in the life
of noted film actress and director Rozina. Her
directorial debut movie titled ‘Firey Dekha’ is
releasing today. The movie is being released
in several cinema halls inside and outside Dhaka.
On Thursday, Rozina has confirmed that today she will sit with the audience and enjoy the movie made by her. The story, dialogues and screenplay
of the movie ‘Firey Dekha’ are written by director Rozina herself. However, Mujtaba Soud helped
her in this case. Rozina, Ilias Kanchan, Nirab, Sporshia and many others acted in the movie.
On making the movie for the first time, inviting the audience to watch the movie and other things, Rozina told this correspondent, “Before this I have produced dramas and telefilms. But this is the first time I’ve directed in silver screen. It is the first time I have directed a movie. Making dramas and
telefilms is not as challenging as making a story on a big canvas like a movie is a big and difficult task; also making a movie about the 1971 liberation war. My childhood was spent in maternal grandfather’s residence in Goalondo of Rajbari. I saw the liberation war with my own eyes. So, the story of the liberation war that I saw with my own eyes came up in my movie ‘Firey Dekha’. Especially the youth of this generation should watch this movie because of how hard we have liberated this country through bloody struggle. I am very grateful to
all the artistes and crew of this movie. They
have helped me tremendously.”
Earlier, Rozina had produced two movies titled ‘Jibon Dhara’ and ‘Dolna’ from Rozina Films. Alamgir-Rozina starrer movie ‘Dolna’ directed by Shibli Sadiq is now very popular with the audience. The song of this movie titled ‘Tumi Je Aamar Koto Chena Seki Janona’ is still very popular with
the audience. This song is a common song in Bangladesh movie songs. The song was penned
by Moniruzzaman Monir and music was
composed by Alam Khan. The song was rendered by Sabina Yasmin and Andrew Kishore.
