Rozina to open women’s award ceremony

To inspire successful women in different fields of Bangladesh, the initiative of ‘Sampurna Bangladesh’ was earlier awarded to women. Subrata Dey is the founder of this organisation and TV actress and model Sharna Lata Debnath is its president.

For the second time, on May 12, the ‘Green-e Sampurna Award’ will be presented at the Music and Dance Centre Auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy of the capital at 3:00pm. Sharna Lata Debnath, President of ‘Sampurna Bangladesh’, confirmed the matter yesterday.

Sharna Lata told this correspondent that noted film actress heroine, producer and director Rozina will inaugurate this year’s event. Rozina has already confirmed that she will attend the event.

While talking in this regard, Rozina told this correspondent, “To be honest, now I get invitations to go to various kinds of events.

But the interest to go to all kinds of events is not born. When Subrata and Sharna Lata gave me the details to participate in the entire award ceremony, then I became very interested in this organisation of honoring women.

I like the idea very much.

And since I have to inaugurate the event, I feel much honored.

That’s why I have confided Subrata and Sharna Lata in this matter. I hope that this arrangement will be completed very smoothly.

I have many good wishes for the ‘Sampurna Bangladesh’.”
Sharna Lata told this correspondent, “We were very inspired by the response we got in the first year’s event. I have sincere gratitude to those who are responding to our call this year.

We are trying to give importance to the successful women of different sectors.”
Subrata Dey shared his feelings by this way regarding talking about Rozina to inaugurate the event.

He said, “A sincere thanks to respected Rozina Apa for the short notice that she allowed us to come to the event.

I have my sincere thanks to honorable Selina Hossain Apa. Thank you to those who will come to the event to receive the award, because everyone will take a break from their busy schedule to come to this event.”
