Deepto Television is producing drama
serials regularly. In this continuation, the shooting of the mega series titled ‘Dena Paona’ has recently started.
Ahmed Herok has written the series inspired by Rabindranath Tagore’s classical short story, ‘Dena Paona’. The series is directed by Golam Muktadir.
Noted actress Tanvin Sweety played an important role in the serial.
Regarding talking about this new serial, actress Sweety told this correspondent, “I consider the story before finalising any work. If I don’t like the story I act. Be it a movie or drama or works of OTT platforms. This series is being inspired from Rabindranath Tagore’s short story. This is why I agreed to act in this series. Meanwhile, I have participated in the shooting. The director is doing the work with great care. I am very optimistic about this new series.”
Sweety will be seen in the role of an ideal mother in the serial ‘Dena Paona’. Her character’s name is Saima.
According to the context of the story, the character of Sweety is very meaningful, this actress said.
The serial also starred Monir Khan Shimul, Shahadat Hossain, Naznin Hasan Chumki, Tanushree, Shaon Das, Priyonto Barua, Mehedi Hasan, Tonmoy Biswas, Sajjad Hossain, Nova Chakraborty, among others.
Director Golam Muktadir said, “Creating a series inspired by the story is really a very challenging task. I am trying to portray the story correctly on the screen. The actors are also trying to give their best. If the audience likes, our efforts will be worthwhile.”
He also said that the shooting of the serial has started from January 18 at Deepto TV’s own floor.
The shooting of the first lot will continue for 22 consecutive days. It is supposed to be shot in different parts throughout the year. Initially, the screenplay was arranged with the aim of 322 episodes.
The director mentioned that the serial will start broadcasting on Deepto TV soon.
